The Village of Royal Palm Beach, incorporated in 1959, is governed by a Mayor and a Village Council and provides municipal and utility services for more than 30,000 residents.

The Village encompasses 11.65 square miles and is approximately 6 miles due west of the City of West Palm Beach and directly north of The Village of Wellington.

A diversity of housing opportunities is available in the Village of Royal Palm Beach, with something for everyone, from young families to active adults.

The Village of Royal Palm Beach has set a high standard of 7.5 acres of parkland per 1,000 residents. The parks are planned and designed with open space areas.

Royal Palm Beach has been named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation since 1990. The entire area within the village limits is designated as a bird sanctuary.
