About Wellington, Florida

Wellington began its history in the 1,950's when C. Oliver Wellington bought 18,000 acres of swampland in Central Palm Beach County. Since then it has grown into one of the best places to live in the U.S.

Wellington is known as the Winter Equestrian Capital of the World, for its incredible equestrian shows and polo matches. Because Wellington has one of the best public school systems, it has also become a great place for families to live.

Wellington has a small town feel: relaxed and quiet; while being just a few miles from downtown West Palm Beach. You can however find very good dining and shopping in and around Wellington, as well as places of worship, parks, community centers, and more.

Wellington is an amazing place to live. There are many things to do and see in and around Wellington: from sportive events, to social events; from a walk in the park to a night at the opera.
